Add another website to your account
How to host a second, independent website with FoxFolio Cloud: buy another eligible hosting service on the same account rather than adding it inside an existing plan.
Quick answer
Each FoxFolio Cloud hosting service runs one website with one primary domain. To host another independent website, order another Cloud Hosting, WordPress Cloud or Managed WordPress service on the same account and give it its own domain. If you only want a second domain to show the same website, open a ticket to ask for an alias instead.
Before you start
- A FoxFolio Cloud account
- A domain for the new website, or the FoxFolio Cloud subdomain option
Applies to: Cloud Hosting, WordPress Cloud, Managed WordPress.
Why a separate service
A separate hosting service gives each website its own control panel, resources, backups and access. A contractor working on one site never sees the other, and cancelling one site does not affect the other. For that reason, FoxFolio Cloud plans do not include self-service extra domains or subdomains for separate websites.
Which request fits
| You want | What to do |
|---|---|
| A second, different website | Order another hosting service |
| Another domain that shows the same website | Open a ticket to request an alias |

On the domain step, register a new domain, transfer one, use a domain you already own (including a subdomain of your own domain, such as
blog.example.com), or use the FoxFolio Cloud subdomain option.Complete checkout
Review and pay. The new service appears in Services → My Services alongside the existing one.
Open the right control panel
Choose the service for the site you want to work on before selecting Log in to Control Panel.
What you should see
Your account lists one hosting service per website, each with its own domain and control panel.
Troubleshooting and common mistakes
- The new service was created on a different account.
- You were not signed in, or you used a different email address at checkout. Open a ticket from the account you want to keep.
- The control panel has no option to add a domain or subdomain.
- That is expected on FoxFolio Cloud plans. Follow the table above to choose the right request.
When to contact FoxFolio support
Open a ticket from the service concerned to request an alias for the same website, or if you are unsure whether you need a new service.
