Check FoxFolio Cloud service status
Where to check for outages and planned maintenance affecting FoxFolio Cloud hosting, email and servers, and what to do if your problem is not listed.
Quick answer
Check the live service status page at www.stackstatus.com for incidents and planned maintenance on the infrastructure behind FoxFolio Cloud. If you are signed in to your account, notices may also appear there. If nothing is listed but your service is down, the cause is probably specific to your site or domain, so work through the troubleshooting guides and then open a ticket.
Before you start
- A web browser; no sign-in is needed for the status page
Applies to: Cloud Hosting, WordPress Cloud, Managed WordPress, Basic Email, Managed Cloud Servers.
Steps
Open the status page
Go to the service status page (opens in a new tab). It lists current incidents and planned maintenance for the hosting infrastructure. The link is also in the footer of every FoxFolio Cloud page.
Match the incident to your service
Read the affected areas, such as web hosting, email or a region. An incident in another area is unlikely to explain your problem.
Check your account for notices
When signed in to your account (opens in a new tab), look for network notices in the support menu or on the home page.
If an incident is listed, wait for updates
Follow the status page for progress. There is no need to open a ticket for a listed incident unless your service is still down after it is marked resolved.
If nothing is listed, troubleshoot your service
Work through Fix a website that is not loading or Fix email that is not sending or receiving, then open a ticket.
What you should see
You know whether a platform incident explains the problem, or that you need to look at your own service.
Troubleshooting and common mistakes
- The incident is marked resolved but your site is still down.
- Clear your browser cache and test again. If it still fails, open a ticket mentioning the incident.
- The status page does not load.
- Try another network, such as mobile data. If both the status page and your site fail from every network, open a ticket or use the contact form.
When to contact FoxFolio support
Open a ticket from your account if your service is down and no incident is listed, or it is still down after a listed incident is resolved. Include the service, domain and the time it started.
